Developing a good working relationship with an artist
As an Engineer at one of Denver’s most diverse recording studios I get the privilege of working with clients of all different musical backgrounds. I have found that getting to know an artist and trying to really understand there vision is really tantamount to reaching the clients desired result. I dont mean simply knowing what kind of guitar tone your after, though that is important as well, really I mean getting to know an artist, being able to get inside there head and empathize with there perspectives about music/ life, etc… As a project progresses the artist has to become comfortable with an engineer on a number of levels. They want to be confident that the engineer is competent behind the helm of the recording system but whats more they want to know that you as an engineer have there best interest at heart and, that you really get what it is there trying to say with there music. AT CCM we really try and go the distance in working with all out artists. Whether you are a young band trying to get your first demo together or a seasoned artist working on the project of a lifetime. We pride ourselves on putting the time and energy into getting to know or artists on all these levels so that we can best serve there needs. It is our goal that you to be thrilled about the product you walk out the door with every time you work with us a CCM.-Guitar_Junkie
