To re-produce an a song requires strict attention to detail. Such was the case for a particular Missy Elliot track a new client brought into CCM studios recently. As a producer, I’m usually very meticulous when creating music.

The everyday average listener of music would find most pop music shallow and basic. The purpose of this session was to create a karaoke versionĀ of the song. This was the only solution due to the fact no instrumental versions were available at the time. I edited and looped the original track using ProTools and reconstructed a near perfect replica of the beat with Propellerheads’ Reason.
