Distortion, a recording engineers’ worst enemy.

There are many great plug-ins used to either sweeten or correct artifacts and oddities in a recording(such as the ones I frequently use in Steinberg’s Wavelab or Emagic’s Waveburner Pro). Unfortunately, completely removing or masking distorted sections of such a recording is virtually impossible. With all my many tricks and remedies, the best solution is to ultimately re-record when possible.
