Homemade Flanger!

I found it fairly easy to create a stereo flange effect in Protools to add to my recent vocal work this past weekend.
Home Made Flanger In ProtoolsWhile the digirack mod II short delay is a rock solid effects rack, a few simple settings will give delay as well as flange
Here are the actual settings to modify.  The LPF frequency should be off (just move the slider all the way to the right). Next, set the delay to about 1.00 ms. Slide the Depth to 100%. The Rate needs to be somewhere around .10 to .15 hz
And lastly, the is will be fun, toy around with the feedback and the rate to experience multiple variations.

This effect works nicely of hooks and chorus sections of material. Once you get the sound(s) you like, copy it on the similar tracks and pan for the ultimate stereo flange effect.  2G
