Denver emcees John Madden and Pirelli blew up CCM Recording Studios the other night making some final touches to their new track, Executioner’s Closet. To finish up we added a few more back-up vocals throughout the track, doubled Pirelli’s vocals, the 1st verse and bridge, and added a few finishing touches in the master track with some light compression with the LA-2A and some brightening and punchy master-EQing. For the vocal tracking we used a Neumann U87 mic through a Grace (ribbon version) pre-amp.
