Grace 101 Mic Pre – Ribbon Version is now a welcomed feature to CCM Recording Studios which features incredible transparency, bandwidth and headroom, as well as a built-in DI that handles a wide variety of high-impedance sources.
The 101 model has Grace Design pedigree throughout – fully balanced and transformerless with no electrolytic capacitors in the signal path. With incredible bandwidth, headroom and resolution, the Grace 101 is remarkably natural, musical and detailed. Also, the Grace 101 has an extended gain range input (10-70dB), specifically designed for gain-hungry ribbon microphones.
Not only that, we have had some wonderful successes using the Grace in chain with our Neumann U87, condenser microphone. These successes, so far, have been the greatest with female vocalists and guitar-amp recordings.
