Manuel Molina records at CCM Studios
Manuel Molina, world famous latin Jazz guitarist, recorded a new version of his previously released single “Sweetheart” at CCM Studios today. The song is going to be released on the new Acoustitherapy CD Nature Walk. Manuel invited The Skanson Strings Cellist Kevin Johnson to perform a lead
cello solo on Sweetheart to replace Manuel’s lead guitar while Manuel soflty sprinkled an arpegiated accompaniment in the
background.
We used an Neuman KM184 on the treble side of the cello and a Neuman TLM 103 on the bass side of the cello to round out the sound. See the studio live room - click here! The live room at CCM is especially good for acoustic instrument recording having been treated with Auralex sound absorbtion and diffusers and “Folded Space” technology baffles.
